FFMA is pleased to announce that a new session titled "CRISIS COMMUNICATIONS; ARE YOU READY?" has been added to the upcoming FFMA Annual Meeting program. The session is slated for Tuesday afternoon (June 19th). As you know we can be confronted with a crisis at anytime ranging from power outages and stumbling customers to natural disasters and bomb threats to a last minute artist cancellation. David R. Voss from Voss and Associates will help us become better prepared to effectively handle communications for internal,media and community audiences. Don't wait for a crisis to hit to prepare your communication plan. This session will provide interesting stories and insider tips from a communication company that does this for a living.

Shelia Weiss was the Public Information Officer for Sarasota County Public Schools when President George Bush came for a friendly visit - on September 11, 2001. A day of reading to children turned into one of our nation's worse days in history.
David R. Voss has handled corporate crises - like the day Coors Beer discovered a dead mouse in a bottle - and counseled hundreds of clients on working with the media. His firm provides training for crisis and day - to - day media management, including recent coaching sessions for our top administrators here at the University of Florida.
