FFMA Scholarship Opportunities

The FFMA Executive Committee has developed the scholarship program to provide students who are interested in the public assembly facility management profession an opportunity to learn more about the career in the industry, as well as a chance to network with practitioners in the field to learn of internships and entry-level positions, and also to nurture and grow future leaders in our industry.

The applications below are in Microsoft Word (.doc) format. To submit a scholarship application, follow the instructions on the application and mail the completed application to:

$500 FFMA Annual Meeting Scholarship
(PLUS Waived Registration Fee)

Purpose: To provide a student who is interested in the public assembly facility management industry profession and/or a related field an opportunity to learn more about the profession and industry; and to provide the chance to network with practitioners within the field to learn of internship and job opportunities in the state of Florida. This year's conference will be held in West Palm Beach, FL from June 22-24, 2008.

Deadline to apply is on or before April 15th, 2008.

$500 College Scholarship

Purpose: To provide a scholarship to a graduating high school senior or to a student attending an accredited university, college or community college, undergraduate or graduate school program who is interested in pursuing a career in the public assembly facility management and/or related field.

$500 IAAM/UVMC Annual Conference &
Trade Show Scholarship

Purpose: To provide a student who is interested in the public assembly facility management profession and/or a related field an opportunity to learn more about the profession and industry; and to provide the chance to network with practitioners within the field to learn of internship and job opportunities in the industry. This year's conference will be held in Anaheim, California from July 25-29, 2008.

Deadline to apply is on or before April 15th, 2008.

FFMA Operations Seminar Scholarship
(Waives Registration Fee and up to $75 to offset travel expenses)

Purpose: To provide a student who is interested in the public assembly facility management profession and/or a related field an opportunity to learn more about the profession and industry; and to provide the chance to network with practitioners within the field to learn of internship and job opportunities in the State of Florida.

Deadline to apply is 20 days prior to the date of the Seminar. The Operations Seminar usually takes place in September.
